The Directors of Anderson Shaw have an associate relationship with Beer & Young Ltd, providing access to the UK's largest and most active network of Private Investors/Business Angels.

We act for business owners who are in need of equity-led capital at short notice, often when other sources of finance are not available.  We aim to provide professional advice and guidance through the entire process.  The Beer & Young database of investors allows us to accurately target high net worth individuals who are looking to invest at a specified level in particular sectors, thus giving us a better chance of finding the 'perfect match'.  In most cases several interested investors will be put forward, and in the majority of cases there will be an offer of funding.  The amounts provided vary from £50k to £2M.

The most important requirement is that the owner and investor must feel that they can work harmoniously together and have a shared vision for the future of the company with the investment in place.  We have a high success rate in this regard and we will only act for companies where we believe there is a strong chance of accomplishing the desired result.

For businesses facing urgent creditor problems, through our relationship with Beer & Young, we can also assist with negotiations with HMRC to achieve the best possible terms for repayment of overdue taxes and, if appropriate, with arrangements for a Creditors Voluntary Arrangement.
