RICHARD ANDERSON has over 20 years experience at senior management level in SME and multi-national companies in both consumer and industrial markets.  He has an engineering degree from Loughborough, an MBA from Harvard and a Finance and Accounting Diploma.  He has personal experience of completing numerous business sales, business valuations and other transactions involving owner-managed businesses.

He started his career with 3i investing in SMEs in the Midlands.  After gaining an MBA, he worked in increasingly senior fmcg roles, latterly with Mars Inc.  In 1994, as Marketing Director of Partco, he contributed to its successful flotation.  In 1997, he became CEO of Independent Parts Group, a small cap PLC.  Following the sale of IPG, from 1998 to 2002, he formed and led an MBI in the industrial distribution sector.  In 2003, he began working as an adviser assisting SME's with a range of transactions including business sales, valuations and debt and equity fund raising.  In 2006 he co-founded Anderson Cooper Ltd and this company became Anderson Shaw Corporate Finance Ltd in 2009.   

CHRIS ELLIOTT has 12 years experience in primarily finance roles in the automotive industry, and 6 years experience buying, and then developing his own business in the recruitment sector. He has an economics and philosophy degree from Oxford University and an MBA from Warwick University.

He started his career with Ford Motor Company, completing a variety of assignments, latterly becoming Finance Director of the Sales Company in Denmark.  He then joined the senior management team at Aston Martin, contributing to its significant growth achievements between 1999 and 2005.  In 2005 he bought an existing recruitment agency operating in the logistics sector.  Having successfully developed this business he sold out in 2011 in order to join Anderson Shaw Corporate Finance Ltd in January 2012.
