Anderson Shaw Corporate Finance Charges on a Success-Related Fee Basis Whenever Possible 

The way our charges are calculated depends on the type of service provided - selling a business, business valuations, equity-led business funding or acquisitions assistance.  Our charges are on a success-based fee structure or a day rate basis or a combination of these.

• Business Sales: Clients usually prefer to pay on a mainly success-only basis.  We charge a small commitment fee when our Business Sale Agreement is signed plus a success-based fee normally calculated as a % of the total amount for which the business is sold.  Our standard agreement includes 2 progress payments which are deductible from the success fee.  For larger transactions we are haapy to work on a capped day rate basis plus a lower % success fee.  
• Business Valuations: Depending upon the size and complexity of the business and the type of report required, this activity takes anything from 1.5 days upwards to complete.  This work is charged on a day-rate basis.  Our standard day rate is £750 + VAT.
• Equity-Led Business Funding: The fee structure comprises a Retainer Fee payable on signing a Letter of Engagement plus a success fee, linked to the amount of funding raised, and payable only if an investment is made as a result of our efforts.
• Acquisitions Support:  Payment is usually on a time spent basis at our standard daily rate or a combination of time spent and a success-based fee.

In addition to these charges we also charge clients for out of pocket expenses which are normally only travel. 

Anderson Shaw's key objective is to provide quality, personalised Corporate Finance services which represent good value for clients whether it be selling a business, business valuations or other transaction.  As a small business, owned and managed by the Directors, we will try to be flexible when agreeing arrangements for our remuneration.
