Sale of Uni-Safe Access Limited
June 30, 2024
Anderson Shaw Corporate Finance are pleased to confirm that they advised the sellers of Uni-Safe Access Limited in their recent sale to Celnor Group. The sellers approached Peter Wilson of Anderson Shaw following a recommendation from their long-standing accountants and Peter worked with them throughout the transaction.
Established in 2011 by Tim Goodbody and Wayne Sweatman and based in the Midlands, the company provides inspection surveys and testing and certification and maintenance of safe access equipment, together with being approved installers of various safety systems. The company also provides preventative, planned maintenance (PPM) to various large organisations covering the whole of the country.
The company provides reliable and thoroughly regulated solutions to its customers and is a long-established, successful player in a growing marketplace with a strong Customer service philosophy. These were all key factors when Celnor were considering the business and matched its own key objectives.

Tim and Wayne commented on the support from Anderson Shaw:
“We appointed Anderson Shaw after a recommendation from our accountants and were delighted with our decision. We knew that the sale process was going to be pretty intense and whilst somewhat daunted by it, Peter Wilson (from Anderson Shaw) explained the overall process from start to finish and gave us the confidence that he could guide us through it. Anderson Shaw produced a very clear sales document and brought several viable buyers to the table. We felt Celnor were the best fit for us and both Peter and our accountants helped us through the full DD process to a successful conclusion. Peter provided sound advice and support throughout and kept the momentum going whilst maintaining good communications with the team at Celnor along the way. We would strongly recommend Peter and Anderson Shaw for anyone thinking of going through a sale of their business.”
