This Company is a long-established electrical installation business based in the South of England. It provides a full range of electrical contracting services associated with leisure, commercial and industrial premises and over recent years has developed some valuable sector specialisations. The business had been owned by a small family-owned group for 5 years. The decision was made to sell the business as part of the owner's long-term exit planning.
The business had, for a number of years, struggled from time to time because of volatile trading caused principally by project delays.
Unfortunately, early in the sales process, the business became untenable for the owner because of various unexpected internal issues. Consequently, the owner decided to sell the business for a nominal amount to a party who was in a position to move quickly.
We cannot therefore take full credit for the sale albeit the Briefing Document which we produced was a very helpful tool in the transaction.
