Advice you can count on for
business sellers and acquirers

We Work Closely with our Client's Existing Advisers

We will never try to replace our Client's current financial advisers whether they be the Company's accountants and/or tax advisers, personal accountants or an independent financial adviser.  We are not qualified to do the work that they do and what they do is not what we do.

In almost every corporate finance transaction, we will need to work closely with the Company's accountants and we have many years' experience of doing this.  For business sales, the Company's accountant is typically involved in providing information for the Sale Document, preparing forecasts, assisting with buyer's detailed financial enquiries and working with the buyer's accountants during due diligence stages.  Similarly, the Company's accountant will generally be involved, to a greater or lesser extent, in acquisition projects.

Anderson Shaw work closely with the financial advisers of our clients to ensure a smooth sale of a business.

For most corporate finance transactions the other critical adviser is the solicitor. It is vital that the client appoints a solicitor with the necessary company law experience to manage the legal aspects of the transaction. If required, we are always happy to recommend 2 or 3 firms, who we have had positive experience with, for clients to contact.

We welcome the opportunity to work with professional advisers who are looking for a suitable corporate finance adviser to assist their client and we are happy to pay introductory commissions.

Anderson Shaw has offices on the outskirts of Stratford-Upon-Avon and provides business broker and corporate finance services for clients throughout the Midlands and the UK.
